Design checks

Geometric shapes are the most common motifs for printing on fabric — especially on cotton canvas from the DIANA or Diana SOFT collection with a softer finish, or cotton sateen, poplin and Elmosa flannel, where the first and foremost motif is of course the check, inherently associated with flannel. Filter our wholesale offer with printed checks by color, weight and the desired wholesale quantity, because checks are in fashion almost all the time. The check as a motif is not boring, it is playful, and combines well with unicolour fabrics – take a look at our UNI unicolour fabric collection.

The fashion industry has specific names for the different sizes of the repeating checks design: The classic one is the shepherd's check – a tiny check pattern popularized by Christian Dior; the Glen plaid or Esterhazy combines the basic shepherd's check pattern with patterns of white, red or otherwise colored threads; then there is the Scottish plaid (tartan), Vichy etc.. The check is simply a fashionable, ageless phenomenon and evergreen.

LINEN PLAIN

Linen plain is an ideal material for warm spring and summer seasons. Linen has excellent properties, it absorbs moisture and it's also very light, airy and cools pleasantly. It also has a number of benefits, it's naturally antibacterial, which is greatly appreciated by allergy sufferers, because it's resistant to mold, pollen and dust. Linen has a heat resistance higher than cotton, so you can safely boil it at higher temperatures even above 200°C, and the more it gets washed, the softer it becomes. It doesn't generate static electricity and, thanks to the fabric structure, it allows air to pass through well. Another feature is creasing, which looks stylish, but you can be reduced creasing by proper washing and storage. We recommend washing our Capri linen at 40 °. Its advantage is the strongest and most firm textile fiber with a very long life.

USE
Our Capri linen can be used to produce shirts, skirts, dresses, trousers, costumes, jackets or shorts. It's also perfect for household items such as tablecloths and kitchen towels.
