Coated fabrics
Do you need a textile or fabric that can withstand small accidents during dining or outdoor events with impact of moisture, and is easy to maintain? Acrylic coating makes the cotton canvas or other fabric water-repellent. Such fabric is then often referred to as coated fabric/cotton.
The face side of the coated fabric becomes easily washable with water (no need to wash it in a washing machine) and the back side retains the weave of the fabric. Please note that coated fabrics should not be wrung out. They should be washed as rarely as possible – folded at a maximum temperature of 30°C – and ironed at a low temperature on the back side only. The advantage of acrylic is colour fastness even in very intense weather such as direct sun or rain, and this goes hand in hand with excellent durability.
Coated fabrics find universal use in both the interior and exterior, e.g. as tablecloths, as upholstery for stressed operation, in renovations, as packaging and protective cases or bags for work, nature or outdoor events. They are also widely used for cosmetic cases, electronics protection, etc.
