Design checks
Geometric shapes are the most common motifs for printing on fabric — especially on cotton canvas from the DIANA or Diana SOFT collection with a softer finish, or cotton sateen, poplin and Elmosa flannel, where the first and foremost motif is of course the check, inherently associated with flannel. The fashion industry has specific names for the different sizes of the repeating checks design: The classic one is the shepherd's check – a tiny check pattern popularized by Christian Dior; the Glen plaid or Esterhazy combines the basic shepherd's check pattern with patterns of white, red or otherwise colored threads; then there is the Scottish plaid (tartan), Vichy etc.. The check is simply a fashionable, ageless phenomenon and evergreen.

97% cotton/3% elastane
Elastane is a very elastic polyurethane fiber. It is an absolute synthetic miracle in the textile industry. Pure elastane fibers can stretch to almost 7 times their length and return to their original state when released. Elastane fibers are very softly and are used in combination with other, especially natural textile materials such as cotton. The amount of elastane in the resulting fabric gives it literally magical and very popular properties such as elasticity and the ability to keep its shape – such clothes or fabrics do not stretch, do not tend to wrinkle and do not absorb moisture. Washing in the washing machine is pure joy, as the strenuous ironing is often not necessary.
